Guest: Jennifer Radtke
Jennifer Radtke is a co-founder of Biofuel Oasis, a worker-owned cooperative in Berkeley that sells biodiesel and urban farming supplies. Since founding Biofuel Oasis in 2003, Jennifer has become a beekeeping educator in Berkeley–she splits her time between Berkeley and Minneapolis, where she works at Beez Kneez Delivery, a community hub for Minneapolis beekeepers.

Jennifer teachers her beekeepers to be calm and careful and prioritize the health of bees–and in this episode, she unveils the reasons for doing so, which is to say, she loves the bees she keeps. Let’s take a listen to her story.

Bio:
Jennifer Radtke has been keeping bees in her backyard for over 14 years, and has developed the beekeeping education program at the Biofuel Oasis. She is former vice-president of the Alameda Co Beekeeping Association.
